Mental health is the base of our modern society.  According to the World Health Organization "Good Mental health is a state of mental well-being that enables people to cope with the stresses of life, realize their abilities, learn well and work well, and contribute to their community. It is an integral component of health and well-being that underpins our individual and collective abilities to make decisions, build relationships and shape the world we live in. Mental health is a basic human right. And it is crucial to personal, community and socio-economic development."       Therefore, it is fair to assume that this basic element is something we, as humans, should take care of, because our proper functioning is based off this key element and how we treat ourselves. Nowadays we live in a world where efficiency is key and producing is mandatory in order to be someone, so paying attention to our internal problems is not profitable or useful, leading to stigma and mystery buil

Why is this blog relevant?

Throughout our lives , we tend to leave the important details about our mental health behind, as we focus on more obvious aspects of our day to day activities. T hrough this blog, we want to emphasize on the importance of well being, which is constituted by mental and physical health. Also, we know that human health depends on external factors which we face in our daily interactions, but also of internal factors which relate to how we process our emotions and acknowledge our conflicts. In MIND MATTERS, we will display a series of factors that inlfuence our mental health and the way our body develops, grows and functions. As it was mentioned before , in this section of the blog mental health is the most important element to live a healthy and balanced life , therefore you should be wondering how physical benefits influence our mental health ?   There are multiple factors that influence the way in which our minds work, certain "problems" or situations can lead to an unhealthy pattern that can end up having a transcendental effect on how our brain develops. For example, when we find ourselves thinking about the future obsessively till the point of not resting, anxiety becomes a reality that causes other health and hygiene problems.       When mental illnesses collide with physical activity, they might start affecting our physical health as well. However, maintaining a good activity routine can reduce the effects that mental concerns hacvve on the rest of our bodies, as physical activity can carry blood to the brain, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve the mood
